The Santa Claus, also known as Christmas melon,or piel de sapo(toad skin), is a variety of melons(family cucurbitaceae) an heirloom melon native to Spain and South America in the 7th century It grows about a foot in length and is avoiding in shape. it has a thick green-stripes outer rind and pale green to white inner flesh with a mild melon flavour and sweetness close to honeydew melon. Long keeper about 2months.
